1. Purpose

This policy outlines the guidelines for disclosing information related to school photography orders to ensure compliance with privacy standards, legal requirements, and business best practices.

2. Information We May Share

We understand that parents and guardians may inquire about their child’s school photos. To protect customer privacy while ensuring transparency, we may provide the following non-sensitive information upon request:

  • Confirmation of whether an order has been placed
  • General details of the purchased package (e.g., number of prints, digital copies, retouching options)
  • Estimated delivery timelines

3. Information We Will Not Share

To protect the privacy of our customers, we will not disclose the following details to any individual who did not place the order:

  • Payment details, including transaction history and payment method
  • Personal identifying information (billing address, phone number, email)
  • The identity of the purchaser
  • Shipping or delivery addresses
  • Any additional customer-specific preferences or private notes

4. Requests from Parents and Guardians

We recognize that school photos involve minors, and legal guardians may request information.

  • If a custodial parent requests details about their child’s order, we may share only general package contents (as outlined in Section 2).
  • If a non-custodial parent requests information, we will only disclose order details if they are the purchaser or have verifiable legal authorization.

5. Legal Compliance & Court Orders

If a legal document (e.g., court order, parenting agreement, or no-contact order) restricts access to a child’s images, we require a copy of the official document before modifying disclosure permissions.

6. Disputes & Escalation

If a customer disputes our disclosure practices, they may submit a written inquiry to waldrupstudio@gmail.com for review. We will assess each case in compliance with business policies and applicable laws.

7. Policy Updates

This policy is subject to periodic updates. Any changes will be communicated via our official website and/or school partners.
